A great legacy: for years, “1890”, whose title recalls Allianz’s founding year, was the serial winner of diverse content marketing awards. For internal reasons, the customer magazine was slimmed down considerably before we took it over in 2018. Journalistically, however, the same love and creativity is still evident in the reports, service pieces and celebrity interviews.
What is special about “1890” is the personalisation: every agent can obtain the magazine in a unique way. Until 2022, as long as the magazine was printed, we did not produce only“one” issue of “1890”, but, rather, more than 1,000 different issues. In 2022, it was converted to an online-only product on a multimedia storytelling platform. Since then, the agents get it distributed on a personalized website. The individual approach stays the same, only the kind of storytelling has changed.
In addition to “1890”, we also manage Allianz’s agent magazine “Allianz Wissen” and the “Allianz Makler Magazin” for the insurance company’s business partners.
